Rwanda’s climate is tropical with two distinct seasons – the wet season from March to May and the dry season from June to September. In mountainous areas such as Volcanoes National Park temperatures can drop significantly below 10 °C (50 °F), while in other areas such as Lake Kivu temperatures can reach up to 30 °C (86 °F).
