MIAMI

Miami is a wonderfully colorful beach destination

In the Miami area, you can enjoy beach life, play golf or shop. The multicultural city has delicious dishes conjuring up restaurants and lots of nightlife.

Miami is located at the southern tip of the state of Florida in the United States and is the largest city in the state. Miami Beach is an island off the coast of Miami that is a popular resort. Miami is a melting pot of numerous cultures with many native Spanish-speaking residents. In Miami, in addition to the beaches, it is also worth exploring the personal neighborhoods, each of which adds to the city’s charm.

Most tourists come to Miami to spend a beach vacation. However, there is much more to do in the area, such as sports and shopping. Miami is a travel destination for a wide variety of tourists: families and couples, backpackers and luxury vacationers.

Miami’s bustling harbor serves as a starting point for numerous cruises. If you want to go on holiday in Miami, you can combine a cruise in the Caribbean Sea, for example. These cruises are surprisingly easy and affordable. On the cruise, it is possible to see several destinations and many islands in a short time – while, of course, enjoying the entertainment and restaurants of a luxury cruise ship.

Miami summers

Heat all year round

Miami summers are hot and humid. The warmest months are May to September. During the day, the temperature can easily rise well above 30 degrees and rarely drops below 20 degrees even at night. Showers may come almost daily, but they often last only a moment.

Miami is coolest from December to February, but even today, the day’s highest temperatures can be well over 20 degrees. In winter there is less rain.

Beach life and golf

The beaches are Miami’s most popular place to visit. On the beaches of the Miami area, you can relax and sunbathe, swim or enjoy water sports such as surfing. One of the most popular beaches in the area is South Beach in Miami Beach, where the sand is white and the water is bright blue. In the evenings, South Beach is also the city’s nightlife hub.

Many tourists head to play golf in Miami. There are up to 20 high-quality golf courses in and around the city. Some courses are public, while others are part of lavish golf and resort resorts. Located in Miami Beach, Miami Beach Golf Club is one of the most famous courses in the area.

Miami has good shopping. The city has luxury shops and huge shopping malls. Shopping can be done at the Aventura Mall, which has more than 300 stores, or on South Beach’s famous shopping street, Lincoln Road.

Interesting restaurants and lively nightlife

For the gourmet lover of good food, Miami is a dream destination. The city offers a variety of cuisines from typical American dishes to more exotic Latin cuisine. There are restaurants in the city for every departure from lavish fine dining venues all the way to the little food stalls on the streets.

Those looking for a food experience should feel free to head to different parts of Miami, such as Little Havana, where numerous Cuban dishes are served to try. In addition to Latin flavors, you can enjoy seafood in Miami. Every year, several festivals are held in the area, offering a huge amount of seafood prepared in different ways.

In addition to the extensive restaurant offer, the city has a lively nightlife and a comprehensive offer of various places to spend an evening after sunset. Many bars in South Beach usually have happy hour deals around the early evening. Rooftop terraces across Miami are a great place to enjoy refreshments and admire the darkening landscape.
